Student loans and bankruptcy

Student loans are notoriously difficult to eliminate in bankruptcy under the current standards. It is unlikely this bill will make it into law but individuals should reach out to their local congressional offices to show their support. It may at minimum start a conversation to provide additional options to borrowers in need — especially for private student loans.
